Service Description

Heart to Heart First Aid/CPR Services Inc. specializes in First Aid and CPR/AED training to the lay public as well as professional rescuers. We have been in operation for over 15 years.

 

STANDARD FIRST AID CPR/AED (Level C or HCP)

16 hours, 2 days $115 student, $125 regular – HST included.

 

(Only if required, upgrade to CPR level HCP for health care providers –add 1 hr of training to the end of Day 1 and add $20.00)

 

This course covers a wide range of First Aid injuries, illnesses and life threatening emergencies. You will learn:

 

  • Preparing to Respond – Introduction
  • Emergency Medical System (911)
  • Recovery Position (unconscious breathing)
  • CPR for adults, children and babies
  • Automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Heart attack/Angina & Stroke/TIA
  • Choking (adults, children and babies)
  • Responding as a “team”
  • Anaphylactic Shock (severe allergy) and Asthma
  • Deadly bleeding – internal and external
  • Amputations – partial and complete / Impaled objects
  • Shock/Fainting
  • Wound Basics (minor cuts, scrapes, punctures, bruises and burns)
  • Secondary Survey
  • Head & spinal injuries
  • Muscle, bone & joint injuries
  • Burns (heat, chemical, electrical, sun)
  • Diabetic emergencies
  • Seizures or Convulsions (includes infant/child high fever)
  • Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
  • Hypothermia and frostbite
  • Emergency child birth
  • Poisoning

 

EMERGENCY FIRST AID CPR/AED (Level C or HCP)

8 hours, 1 day $85 student, $95 regular – HST included

 

(Only if required, upgrade to CPR level HCP for health care providers –add 1 hr of training to the end of the course add $20.00)

 

RE-CERTIFICATION DOES NOT EXIST FOR THIS COURSE

 

This course covers all life threatening illnesses and injuries. You will learn:

 

  • Preparing to Respond – Introduction
  • Emergency Medical System (911)
  • Recovery Position (unconscious breathing)
  • CPR for adults, children and babies
  • Automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Heart attack/Angina & Stroke/TIA
  • Choking (adults, children and babies)

With courses on weekdays, evenings and weekends, we have the flexibility to suit your schedule. Our office hours are 9am –5pm Monday though Friday.
